The Sagrado Corazón School was founded in 1930 by Ms. Maria Luisa Herradora, a distinguished educator who was already a lot of Fame.

The April 17, 1947 took the Oblate Sisters. The number of religious sects, began their work. The enterprise was difficult: it was a boarding school that was 17 years old and had a large number of lay teachers; It had to do so little by little, the necessary innovations.  instituto-sagrado-corazon4

But the number of pupils increased so much that we had to build a special building, with all the necessary requirements. For this purpose it was purchased a vast land.

 

sagrado-corazon-tegucigalpaHe's really great, located in beautiful panoramic position, and maintained with singular expertise. It provides a comprehensive educational program that includes School Pre-k, K, preparatory, primary, III, Awarded and Trade cycle.

The purpose of the nuns is to offer a complete education, especially training children and teens in spiritual values, morals and ethics. It also offers the opportunity to prepare for first communion and confirmation.

Working of canonical in spiritual formation of lay teachers and parents, so that training is offered from the heart of families.

The February 1, 1995 opened this home with the intention of creating a place for Spiritual exercises. The whole House is designed for that purpose. It was built in stages, is now a comfortable place for the reception of priests, religious communities, groups of children and young people who want a place to be with Jesus in prayer and in contemplation.

It also served to make many meetings of the Institute: provincial chapters, meetings, training courses for Junior and Perpetual sisters.

Valle de AngelesThis work has a good job with those in need, women religious bring their food and give them spiritual and moral education. This is also a work of social assistance to families, the elderly, the young and poor children.

This work began in the year 1974 as a work of vocation, by Sister Josefina Ardòn. The pastor of that time had started a small school of promotion for women where they did impart cutting and tailoring courses, typing and other work.

Then Sister Josefina, with the help of her sisters, bought a larger home and comfortable where to start its apostolic mission with girls with vocation and that they did not have the opportunity to continue the third secondary. When she was settled, the pastor offered her the opportunity to continue that work training women parish.

He was then made a small room where they were selling those things that the students were in the school of cutting and packaging, guesthouse and other activities. At the same restaurant also sold medicines and other items, to create funds for the junior novitiate that was started there in that House. Because there was no place in school where continue III cycle, opened the College Margarita Diomira Crispi, as social work Institute Sagrado Corazón of Tegucigalpa. The latter work is due then cede to the State after a few years, but still retains his name.

Meanwhile began another mission in that place. Seeing the need of children and elders of a House and other necessities began a program called "Christian Foundation for children and the elderly" where women religious, as a result of a socio-economic study, chose those people were given economic aid, with which they could build a small houses or at least put some rooms. With that money i could study and eat children. Finally, this program is closed, but the work goes on with a school called "teacher", for those young people who are not able to go to a public school to study; with this program, which runs every weekend, teachers offer basic education free.

Religious lavorarano with the lay Oblates to divine love. Also coordinate this school and also work of canonical in evangelization by catechetical formation, youth, help in the parish and animation to the sick and needy.

This House was placed on the training of aspirants.
